For this assignment I was asked to create a gift booklet for someone using a talk from the October 2023 General Conference of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I chose to use the talk Hallmarks of Happiness by Elder Gary B. Sabin. This talk stood out to me because of its emphasis on finding happiness no matter what the circumstances might be. I chose colors that would be grounding and hopeful. Each subheading was designed to bring attention to the theme of the text, and I highlighted quotes that would give a foreshadowing of what was addressed in the body of the talk.
